In Ayurveda, the use of essential oils derived from plants are powerful for improving our psychological and physical well being.
Blends of therapeutic essential oils that can be issued through topical application, massage, inhalation or water immersion can stimulate a desired response.
Whether you need to relax, cure a headache, curb your appetite, enhance your mood, or induce restful sleep, all can be achieved by the use of essentials oils.
Another alternative, instead of essential oils, can be “HYDROSOLS” also known as floral waters. Hydrosols are essentials oils but in a far less concentration. Both essential oil and Hydrosols are derived from distillation and contain the oil soluble constituents.
When working with an experienced Ayurveda or Aromatherapist, they can help with what will work the fastest and give you the greatest result. However, those that want to try experimenting, I would definitely suggest Hydrosols as they are safer in their concentration. Some people can have a skin sensitivity or use a pure oil incorrectly resulting in an opposite affect.
